Event Chair
The Event Chair is responsible for organizing and executing all events hosted by LPD Families, including family gatherings, social events, and volunteer activities. This role involves planning, coordinating logistics, recruiting volunteers, and ensuring that events align with the organization's mission and values. The Event Chair works closely with other committee members to ensure events are well-executed, engaging, and beneficial to department families. Creativity, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee all family gatherings, social activities, and volunteer opportunities.
Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, scheduling, catering, and supplies.
Recruit and manage volunteers to assist with event execution.
