Fundraising Chair
The Fundraising Chair is the driving force behind securing financial support for LPD Families, ensuring that the organization has the resources it needs to sustain its programs and initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies, cultivating donor relationships, and organizing events that generate financial contributions. The Fundraising Chair plays a vital role in expanding the organization’s financial capacity. Their efforts directly impact the ability to provide support for families, host community events, and offer crisis assistance when needed. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute fundraising campaigns, including sponsorships, grants, and community donation drives.
Organize fundraising events, such as benefit dinners, raffles, auctions, and online giving initiatives.
Collaborate with the Treasurer to track funds raised and ensure proper allocation.
Build relationships with local businesses, donors, and sponsors to secure financial support.
Promote fundraising efforts through social media, newsletters, and outreach initiatives.
Engage volunteers and community members in fundraising activities to maximize participation.
